Some web designers or SEO providers make a bold statement such as this. It sounds good, maybe too good? Well, in reality, it is a very easy guarantee to make becasue Google only has 10 ranking positions!

The Google ranking system is more like the Olympic scoring system, where 10 is the highest and 0 the lowest. If your website is not optimised properly, it won't even be recognised by Google and therefore not even rate a zero.

If you are being advised that your site will come up 1st to 10th in search results, that is a differnet story and usually comes with a disclaimer attached to the guarantee.
